The festival welcomes for the first time Alex de Almeida, an important representative of the Brazilian accordion school, and the award-winning Czech pianist and composer Nikol Bóková, a central figure of the Czech music scene. Through her original compositions that touch on different musical genres with an open and fresh approach, the Nikol Bóková Trio with Alex de Almeida fuse contemporary music-making and European jazz with the explosive rhythms of Brazilian music.

The concert is supported by the Czech Centre of Athens.
